We are pleased to announce that The Guild of Fine Food has awarded a gold star to two Downsview Farmhouse products in their Great Taste Awards for 2009.
Our Bramley Apple sorbet won a gold star along with our Honeycombe Ice Cream with Honeycombe Pieces in the Frozen Desserts category.
The Guild of Fine Food is a trade association with over 1300 members and their annual Great Taste Awards are seen as the benchmark standard for speciality food and drink makers.
We are very happy to have achieved recognition for the quality of our products and we are encouraged to do even better next year!

The new milking parlour is now in full operation at Downsview Farm. It is situated in the next door building to our milk processing dairy. This means that every morning and evening milking time, the fresh milk flows straight into a refrigerated tank, ready for pasteurisation. Within 24 hours, it is either bottled for our fresh milk retailers or manufactured into our delicious ice creams and sorbets.
